| Bio: | Name: Mr. Linderman Age: Early 60's City of residence when joining this group: New York Hero or normal?: Hero Power(s): the ability to heal living things, both plant and animal. Like Claire's regeneration powers, this allows him to heal injuries that would normally be untreatable, such as spinal cord damage. A flashback in the graphic novel "War Buddies" reveals that he was also able to cure his mother's illness. However, Linderman's power has limits; it appears to require conscious activation and is not able to revive the dead. Canon or Original: Canon A known mobsters, Linderman is a rich man, who loves to cook and collect art and antiques. He served in Vietnam with the father of Peter and Nathan Petrelli where he used his powers to save their father's life. During this mission, they reach the known "victim" whom they realize have an ability like Linderman. Petrelli shot this girl and Linderman was stopped by him to heal her; this led to Linderman's quest to preserve the human race, no matter the consequences. Throughout the years, Linderman's dealings within the mob and beyond led to his wealthy state. He knows what's to come and will do anything he can to hope to see it through, especially by manipulating all the players of the 'game' as possible - Nathan Patrelli in particular. He is both a friend of the 'heroes' as well as a foe. Polite, sophisticated, and respected, Linderman is quick to say 'thank you' with a smile just as quick as he is to send a hitman (or hitwoman) after you.
